Shirley Anne (Luse) Biggs, 82, of Greeley, CO passed away peacefully on April 18, 2021, in Greeley.

Shirley was born to E. Wyly and Grace (Tuxhorn) Luse on October 10, 1938, in Smith Center, Kansas (Smith County). On March 10, 1961 in Greeley, Shirley and Max L. Biggs were united in marriage.

Shirley graduated from Strasburg High School in Strasburg, Kansas in 1952. After graduating, Shirley moved to Greeley where she was employed at the Weld County Mental Health Department, until she retired.

Shirley loved traveling and camping with Max. Many weekends you could find them at their property in the Colorado Mountains. They enjoyed the Aspen trees, waterways, elk, deer and hummingbirds. For Shirley, the mountains were her place of peace and happiness.
Shirley is survived by her brother-in-law, Bruce Biggs and wife Sue of Pleasant Valley, MO; Sister-in-law, Eleanor Biggs of Greeley, CO; four nieces, Lisa McLaughlin, Lynne Maddox, Brenda Heckman, and Glenda Zimmerman; one nephew, Larry Biggs; numerous great nieces and nephews; and a lifelong best friend, thought of as a sister, Kay Gies Johnson.

Shirley was proceeded in death by her husband, Max Biggs; and brother-in-law, Rex Biggs.

A special thank you to Shirley’s doctors, nurses, Meadow View staff, Grace Pointe's staff, friends, neighbors, and family.
No services will be held per Shirley’s request.
