Norman “Dean” Simpson, 69, of Eaton, passed away on September 7, 2019, at home after a lengthy illness, surrounded by family.

Dean was born in Greeley, to Everett & Inez (Magnuson) Simpson on July 20, 1950. Dean was a lifetime resident of Eaton. He graduated from Highland High School, attended Colorado State University, and was a member of the Farmhouse Fraternity.

Dean is survived by his children, Alise (Darren) Ranck, Jacob (Sara), and Lisa (Lucas) Simpson; grandchildren; Josh, Kelsey, Katie, Everett, Linnea, & Lillia; great-granddaughter, Trinity Rose; sisters, Judy Simpson, and Joyce (Dave) Spight; and special friends, Bob & Fran Donley, and Jean Raisley.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private family celebration will be held.

Sorry to hear about Dean. We roomed together at CSU and remained good friends. He was in our wedding 47 years ago. I last saw him this spring at his house and we had some good laughs. Gary and Charlotte Billings

From the entire Dahlgren family we were sorry to hear about Dean passing away. Dean was one of the best athletes to come out of Highland High School.
