Obituary

Mark Paul Harkless age 66 of Greeley, Colorado quietly slipped away to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on March 31, 2021 of natural causes at the Greeley Hospital.
He was born on October 15, 1954 in Evanston, Illinois to Calvin and Maxine Harkless. Mark graduated in 1973 from Greeley Central High School. He then enlisted in the Air Force in 1974, during which time he attended Aero Space Medicine and took business management courses. He was a veteran who served with distinction in the Korean conflict and was Honorably Discharged as a full Sergeant. He returned to Greeley in 1977 where he continued his education in the Real Estate fields, business management and financial courses. He then started working for himself in the construction field and became successful in working with his hands and doing a number of household remodeling and repairs. Mark’s passionate loves and hobbies were karaoke, traveling, racquetball and moving snow around in the winter with his ATV 4 X 4. He will be enormously missed by his family and good friends.
He was preceded in passing by his parents Calvin and Maxine Harkless as well as his youngest sister Callie, and has been survived by his older brothers Tris and Rory, his younger brother Gary and his younger sister Darlyn Johnson of Alabama as well as a multitude of nieces and nephews. I remember when Uncle Mark would come over and talk with us boys about life. He would tell us about the things we ought to do and not. He would also tell us how to behave, how to be brotherly and be our brothers keepers. We will meet again Uncle Mark, and it'll be jubilee when we do.
