Linda Rose (McClaren) Terrell, 72, of Longmont, CO. passed away at the Northern Colorado Medical Center, in Greeley, CO on Tuesday August 25th, 2020.

Linda was born, one of 9 children, on November 22nd, 1947 in Le Mars, IA to Basil (Herman) and Maxine (Billings) McClaren. Linda's childhood years were spent in Cherokee, IA where she attended and graduated from Cherokee High School. After a whirlwind courtship, she married her lifelong partner and the love of her life, Donald Terrell on August 7th,1966. Don and Linda made homes in Toms River, N.J. and Cherokee, IA, before settling in Peterson, Iowa where they raised their daughters. They moved with their family to Longmont, Colorado in 1985, where they spent many happy years together.

Linda had a sharp wit, and a playful sense of humor. She was a voracious reader of mysteries and historical novels. She was a grand-champion Scrabble and Jeopardy! player. She cared for and loved her grandchildren fiercely. She was an animal lover and a champion of the underdog and was one of the sweetest people you’d ever meet.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 54 years; Donald Terrell of Longmont, CO; two daughters, Kristina Terrell of Denver, CO and Holly Painter of Longmont, CO; two handsome grandsons; Campbell Cuffaro of Sidney, NE and Owen Painter of Loveland, CO.
