Obituary

Joseph William Bowker, 54, of Greeley, passed away on November 26, 2019 in Evans.

Joe was born in French Camp, California to Joseph and Anna Noland on January 12, 1965, and later came to Greeley to join the family of Edwin & Leona (Noland) Bowker. He became an Eagle Scout. Joe served honorably in the Navy as a fire control technician. He met Lori Born, and they were married in 1990. They had two children; Ethan and Cierra.

Joe worked as a computer technician and was quite the computer whiz. He taught himself how they worked and then went into business, building and repairing computers for many people around the Greeley area. Joe loved the Poudre canyon and knew every single fishing hole by heart.

Joseph is survived by his children, Ethan Bowker (Daniel Estrada) and Cierra Bowker (Kyle Johnson). Joe is also survived by his parents, and his sisters, Belinda (Charlie) Taylor, Bonnie (Dave) Martin, and Robin (Martin) Vierow. He has many friends who mourn his loss as well.

I remember when Joe came to live with the Bowkers, just up the street from me. We used to play golf up and down 35th avenue court. Ripping up lawns... of course we always we replaced the "divet" Nobody seemed to care.

Joe you will be missed by all of us who rode with you out here on the streets of Greeley. You would have gave the shirt off your back to a complete stranger. You are one of the best men I've ever met. There should be more people out here like you. I'll miss you brother.
