John, thank you for your service to our country. Your classmates from the Cheyenne High School graduating class of 1959 are thinking about you. May your memories bring strength and love to your family. Fred Gish

My mistake. The scripture is Ii Corinthians 5:8 NOT II Chronicles 5:8. Sorry!

My heart hurts with each new memory of my big brother John. I have so many fond memories of him and it seems as though so many new ones come to mind since we lost him. I was especially close to him during my teenage years. He is 6 years older than I am so he sort of took me under his wing and took care of me. He always treated me with kindness and made me feel very special. I remember the times he took me to the "Owl Inn" on a cold winters night for a cup hot chocolate (with whipped cream on top). What a treat! The birthday gifts from "The Carriage House" a ladies boutique in Cheyenne. Oh My! I had never had such nice things. He even bought me an Orchid corsage for Easter Sunday Church services at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. What a special brother! He was a true gentleman and a kind and generous person. I never heard him use foul language or speak badly about anyone. "Brother John" (as I always called him and he called me "Sister") was not just my brother... he was my friend, my protector and I will miss him more than I can even think of right now. I guess he was my hero during those difficult teenage years and he will always be a hero to me. I know that John loved THE LORD. not just because of conversations we had but by the way he lived his life. I know that he is with THE LORD today. II Chronicles 5:8 says "We are confident and willing to be absent from the body and to be present with THE LORD." That is where I find my comfort today.

I knew John through my life long friendship with his younger brother Frank. John was always nice to me and tolerated Frank and I. I remember John was always trying to tell Frank and me what to do. I was sorry to hear of Johns passing. My condolences to Frank and the Limon family.
