Obituary

Gerald "Jerre" Wojtkewicz, age 77, died on January 31, 2021.
Jerre is survived by his wife, Mary, his daughter, Tamara Miles; his son, Wesley Hinds; his daughter Tanya Wojtkewicz; his son David Wescott; his granddaughter, Alex Dobbins and his brother Mark Wojtkewicz. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Jill.
He was born on February 4, 1943 in Crivitz, Wisconsin, to parents Elizabeth and Leo. He graduated from Lakewood High School in Colorado. He retired from IBM in 1995 after 30 years.
Jerre was a devoted family man and a loving father. He married Mary in 1972 and the couple shared four children together.
He was actively involved in his church, Johnstown United Methodist, as well as the Lyons Club. He was an avid sports fan and took tickets for the local high school games. For many years he enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing. His family and friends will remember him as a man of service, always there to lend a helping hand.
A memorial service will be scheduled later in the year at Johnstown United Methodist Church.

Great friend of 54 years! We car pooled, worked, hunted, fished, and family friends. It is an honor to be his friend. Heart felt sympathy to all of his family.

I worked with Jerre at Longmont United Hospital in the security department. He was great officer & he would give anyone the shirt off his back. Rest in peace Jerre, I am honored to be a part of you life.
