Obituary

Fern Mary Beson passed into eternal life the morning of January 7, 2019. She is now with her beloved husband Stanley. Fern was born Feb. 6 1929 in Burlington, Iowa to Alena (Dunn) and Roy W. Warth. She moved with her mom and dad to Denver, Colorado when she was 12, graduating from Denver West in 1947. Fern will be remembered as a loving wife to Stanley Beson, who she married Jan. 22 1948 in Los Angeles CA. A loving mom, grandma to her 3 grandchildren Scott Bangert, Mary Bangert and Robyn Duncan and great-gramma to her great-granddaughter Hailey Bangert.

Fern was a very talented artist, which you could see in her everyday life. She loved Christmas and had a few hundred Dept 56 houses displayed around their home that Stanly built shelves for. She would start decorating for Christmas in November.

She started sewing when she got married and made all her and her girls clothes. She was a member of the Jaycees. She taught herself to knit and made beautiful ski sweaters for all the family. She did machine embroidery and met many new lifelong friends. She joined sewing clubs, knitting groups and took up card making and stamping. Fern loved her rose garden in the backyard and always had many cut roses around her home. She and Stanley loved to go to the Greeley Country Club dancing, New Mexico rock hunting, and California to visit her cousin. She was a sweet person that loved her family and friends.

Fern is survived by her daughters Jan Bangert, Eaton, Teri (Gary) Pfeifer of Morrison and grandchildren Scott Bangert of Greeley, Mary Bangert and Stuart Smith of Colorado Springs, and Robyn (Johnathon) Duncan of Ft. Collins. She is also survived by her only great-grandchild Hailey M Bangert of Greeley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Stanley, and her son-in-law Randy Bangert.
