Luis Rios Jr. Also known to many as Chief, 59, of Greeley, passed away suddenly on October 25, 2019 in Greeley.
Chief was born in Greeley, Colorado to Luis & Kathleen (Sanchez) Rios on February 15, 1960.
He worked as a painter for many years. He was a spiritual man and was well known around the community as a Shaman. Chief loved to make dream catchers. . He was a good person who would do anything for anyone
Chief is survived by his children, Edward Perez, Jennifer Holguin, Nicole (JoeDan) Cardenas, Coby Rios, Ezekiel Rios; grandchildren, Robert Luis Cardenas, Justine Barrera, Raquel Cardenas, Ebony Cardenas, Kyle Barrera, Anasia Cardenas, JoeDan Cardenas, Felipe Cardenas; Chief is also survived by his siblings, Sally (Jimmy) Nunez, Pete Rios, Rudy Rios, David Rios, Charles Rios, and a large loving extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, MaryAnn Rios.
A Celebration of Life will be at 5 p.m. on Friday, November 1st, 2019 at Northern Colorado Crematory.
