It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Anna Marie Sanches. She was born on March 2, 1955 in Houston, TX. Anna passed on August 5, 2020 at the age of 65, in Longmont, CO due to complications stemming from Alzheimer's.

Anna graduated from the High School of the Visual and Performing Arts with an art degree. Some of her earliest careers were with Southwestern Bell, she became a respected Television Producer, and was a driver at AutoZone/Master Drive. In her later years, she became a certified truck driver for Swift and lastly a limo driver. Anna truly loved her books, coffee, missy the cat, music, art, family, friends and driving to new places. She was never one to be boxed in. She grew up in the heat of Texas but really enjoyed the cool brisk air of the Colorado Mountains. She never wanted any one to cry at her funeral. Instead, she wished that we rejoice knowing that she went Home to rest in peace.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Amparo and Willie F. Sanches; and her older brother, Joseph W.Rizo Sanches.

She is survived by her daughter, Felicia husband Shane Guinther; Son, Steven Ybarra, wife Talitha; her younger brother John Vincent Sanches Sr. and wife Teresa; sister Elizabeth Sanches Hamilton and husband Gabriel Castro; grandchildren: Victoria, Derek, Phoebe, Drake and Daniel; nieces and nephews: Cynthia and Ray Guerrero , Lisa M Sanches & Jimmy Gibson, Joe Anthony Sanches, Nikki and JR Aguero, Veronica Sanches , Sabrina and Ruben Ochoa, Christina and Abel Hoffman , Esther and Nick Robinson , Anna and Rich Pecina , BB Sanches and Stephanie, Michael J. Hamilton; as well as many great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

We will be honoring her with a Celebration of Life on Friday, August 21st, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Northern Colorado Crematory, 700 8th St, Greeley, CO 80631.

Anna was like a 2nd mom to me Felicia and I spent our high school years between my house and her house. She taught me what good home made salsa taste like! And what a chancla was and how she loved her coffee Wich she called El goto because she had an Exon coffee cup with a tiger on. She gave me so much good advice about boys and about getting a job . She was very creative as well I was remembering a time I was there at her house and she had this little stuffed animal and she would do like a puppet show with it and she was really good at it. I am so thankful for having her in my life ❤️ . I know she is resting with the Lord now and I hold her in my heart . She was truly a blessing to have in my life . I send all of my love to Felicia and Steven and the whole family .

Even though we drifted apart, I pray you know you are in my heart. My sincerest condolences to Felicia, Steven and their families. My best memory of Anna is one where she was in a beautiful Mexican gown and she was dancing which was something she loved. Love your sister in law Rita Sanches.

My aunt Anna and I were pretty close for many many years. We had our ups and downs and eventually went our own paths. However, I never forgot some of the great cooking tips and her sayings about things in life that helped me along the way. I hope she knows I was listening and took things to heart. Her passing leaves many saddened and I'm praying she is truly at peace. I hope she was greeted by loving family; most especially by her big bro Joe (my dad). Praying they are hanging out together like she wanted. RIP Tia Love Cynthia.
